Compared to other strings I’ve used, the sound feels far more open – with a brighter resonance and greater volume, yet without any harshness. It’s beautifully balanced: warm and dark, but only just enough to give it an elegant depth. At the same time, it remains wonderfully direct, and I can easily imagine the sound carrying effortlessly in a large hall.”

For me, the new Silver strings have managed to increase and improve the dynamic range and color. For now, I feel they’re the ideal new strings for my violin.”
